The Cash For Appliances Program will generate a lot of public attention. Members of the news media are requested to contact the California Energy Commission Media & Public Communications Office to arrange interviews and to ask questions.
A Frequently Asked Questions page has been prepared to answer basic questions.
Please note that the Energy Commission is not spending any of the federal funds on marketing or advertising about the program. Account executives for radio, television, and printed media should not contact the Energy Commission for sales leads. Announcements about the program will be done with news stories and by Program Partners through their own advertising and marketing budgets.
